I am just wondering if you have to petition at you local court or whether it can be another one? Only reason is it would be easier to do it nearer my parents than me as I will need to drop the children off there first.

No, you can't choose, it has to be the one in the area you have spent the majority of the time living in the last 6 months.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Thanks for that, how do I find my closest BR court because on the HMCS website my local court doesn't do BR and I am not sure which is my nearest one. If I call my local court will they be able to tell me which one to go through?0

Yes, just phone your local County Court, they'll tell you which one you need to go to, you never know, it might be the one near your Mums!Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
