Lloyds taken payment again !!

Its the 3rd time now.........Lloyds have taken payments from the account.

Thank goodness everything should be starting from the new bank account next week.

The week before last even though the direct debits were cancelled prior to them taking them, (I am aware they can try doing this),they taken the full amount minus the token payment on hubby's loan.

Last week they taken mine, although it was out of my autistic son's dla.
We complained and had both loan repayments paid back into the account.

And today they taken out a credit card payment, this however out of the Child tax credit which has my son's disability premium included in that.

Saying that they also taken out £25.00 personal loan charge yesterday as well.

Like I said though I know just as long as you have an account open with them they can do this.

We do have a new bank account but its taking time for everthing to settle down, like the payments going in which are all currently benefits at this time.

Even though its the overdraft some of the money is still being paid in direct to lloyds until this settles down at the new bank.

Any suggestions folks?

Because even though they have been taking the token payments for 2 loans, credit card, and the account, they confirmed in writing they are unable to accept them?

We had the first default notice yesterday and what's going to happen when we have nothing at all paid into that account of lloyds, and the overdraft has run dry, with them not accepting the token payments??

We are with CCCS, but not DMP as there is not enough for a plan right now, so with their letters etc, we send lloyds absolutely everything the last month, the CCCS letters, the expenditure information the copy of mortgage arrears letters, everything and the mortgage is with them as well, they taken money that we wanted to pay towards the mortgage and they are aware of that......

Cheers folks, feeling quite sick today to be honest, BP up again and already on meds for that as well.

*hugs* sorry to hear they are still being a PITA.Hope you get the new bank sorted asap-its horrible waiting for the payments to be transferred isnt it-the tax credits said they were paying into my old account,so i got ready to go into branch and get it,but they paid it into the new one!.Just waiting to see if my wages go into the right account tomorrow-fingers crossed.
Cant answer your question, but thought I'd bump it for someone more knowledgeable. Will check our account again too-i'm not sure what happens with the overdraft?-our loan was for £323,they took £250,and are asking for £73 by letter today. Not sure why they didn't take more:confused:,as overdraft was £300,so they could have taken that.Maybe they wont go over the overdraft limit?,but i wont bet on it!.Hope you get an answer soon-and try to relax hun, your health is so much more important
