    Are you discharged yet?
    You can apply for a Vanquis, (and get £25 cashback from Quidco ;))
    They're very accomodating although APR's are very high for ex BR's, and credit limits are low, but if you need one for things other than spending they do the trick.

    hi t i am not sure but i think the only one you will be likely to be accepted are the one with sky roof interest and a limited credit available such as provident or vanquis credit card

    I opened a barclays account the other day and they didnt seem to care much for the bankrupcy, but then again it is a basic account........are there any other banks that are accomandating apart from the high interest companies?

    Not for credit cards, no.
    If you go over to the Credit Card forum there's a whole 'sub-prime' thread you may find interesting.

    Hi guys,

    I was accepted bankrupcy at 2:30 today at the Supreme Court of Justice in London today.
    As I feel this is a fresh start I want to know if I can shred all my creditors corrspondence they sent me? Or would this be a bad idea so early on just incase they need it for reference?

    I look forward to your replies.

    Many Thanks

    You only went bc in march and you are asking about getting a credit card for £1,000.:eek: Are you forgetting this

    not obtain credit of £500 or more from any person without first disclosing the fact that
    you are bankrupt (see section 8);

    I don't see how anyone will give you credit a)so soon after bc b)less so seeing as you are undischarged .

    It's a slippery slope you just got off why oh why do you want to get back on it for!

    I think you're peeing in the wind mate.

    It'll take a fair bit of time for anyone to trust you with that kind of limit, sub prime usually starts at £250.
