    Oh, there was a campervan this morning. Pulled out in front of me and then braked whenever it approached another car - even though it was on it's own side of the road. I think it was the driver's first journey out, but wish he could have delayed that until after 9am, not set out just before!!!

    You can take a ferry from Plymouth to Santander and also i think from Portsmouth, depending on where you are.

    You can get a ferry from portsmouth to bilbao the cost might be about the same as petrol through france too.

    £1100 bilbao ferry :rolleyes: then 550 miles fuel to costas

    £150 dover calais + £100 return tolls + fuel 1000 miles each way @ 30mpg
