Can anyone point me in the direction of a small to medium dressing table mirror, cheap and cheerful but hopefully not actually plastic, below £20?

    I think you may struggle with this - Argos have a few but they are nearer £30 than £20.

    Is there a Matalan or a TK Maxx near you - might be worth a look?

    Yes, I'm finding that it is not an obvious thing for shops to sell. Consequently when you do find it, it is usually at a ramped up price - as if they know you won't find it easily elsewhere. Even ebay has ludicrous prices.
