Repossesion date

Hi everyone
Anyone know how long it takes from the repossession court hearing until they actually take possesion of the property?

    The standard order made at a court hearing is a 28-day Possession Order. You can ask the judge to make a forthwith order if you need to move it along, or 56 days if you need to slow it down.

    Once the order expires, the lender has to issue a notice of eviction prior to the court bailiff attending with a locksmith. The timescale can vary a lot but I reckon three weeks is typical.
