Bankruptcy order and attachment of earnings order

Hi
Last year August I helped a friend through their bankruptcy petition. We included everything on the petition form including council tax arrears for 2008-09 and council tax arrears that had been passed to a bailiff. My friend has since moved to new rented accommodation.
Last month he got his wage slip and discovered that 2 attachment of earnings orders had been made on his wages - the deductions have meant that he is now struggling in his new home. We've contacted the council but they don't seem very willing to help and won't provide details of the orders (because he moved he never got any paperwork at all relating to it). He contacted the Official Receiver but they said there was nothing they could do because it was a court order.
Could anyone give us advice what can be done? We thought that this had been covered by the bankruptcy order.
Thanks
H
