The OP would be paying for it to out of his own pocket, he isn't trying to get HMRC to pay for it. If your firm does any form of training you can be sure that they will have all or the bulk of costs for it offset against there tax liabilities, OP is enquiring about a similar thing.Norn Iron Club member No 3530 -
when reading the last 2 paragraphs of the above post , my first thought was, to hell with it go bust then get the gov to retrain you in a new skill. a real case of the law being an !!!.
