    Actually spent quite a bit more today than expected - £2.49 in Tesco on yogurt, pasta, rice and billy bear ham (reduced). Then £45 in Focus for wallpaper and paint for the kitchen (it really does need it tho!)

    £5.85 Tesco (wrapping paper, scissors, bath foam)- only what I went in for which is unusual for me!!

    Wasn't more than I budgeted for, until.... i treated myself and my sister to lunch at Chiquitos= £16.60 :o

    Definitely no more being spent today, but car is in garage tomorrow so I will be more disciplined for rest of week!!!

    Do you work emylou...? And if so do you work with computers? You will get that refunded if you do (if you have the receipt).

    £5.10 in tescos on stocking up bits, won't need anything more for ages hopefully!
    £4 on getting my dissertation (2 copies) bound, ready to hand in tomorrow, yippee :D :j
    Tonight I am treating myself to a sandwich from subway so that will be about £3-£4, haven't had takeaway for ages so gonna enjoy it!
    Also earned £15 voucher for an hours work on a student panel, think it'll be for our local shopping centre so can use at tesco if I'm feeling good :A or on a treat for myself if i'm feeling naughty :rolleyes:

    I'm all chuffed, managed my first no-spend day of the week. :)

    Got swimming tomorrow though but I'll take my own drink so it'll only be £3.20.

    About £4.00 on lunch for 2 of us (£3 per day in my budget) so i guess i'll have to have a cheapie tomorrow or make some sarnies and be £2 better off!!!

    dottyanne, if you are struggling to get your £1000 together, why are you budgeting £3 a day for lunch? I'd have thought you'd have been making sandwiches anyway, or am I missing something?
