New Overlocker - any suggestions/deals?

Options
My Bernina 006D is driving me up the wall. I've had it for about 10 years and had it serviced for £50 about 2 years ago. But the problem has not been remedied.

I'm considering a new overlocker but have not experience of the £200 end of the market, e.g. Babylock entry machine. Is it any good?
May also consider jet air threading from Babylock or is this just a gimmick? Does it really work?

I use my overlocker mainly for neatening seam edges and occasionally for sewing knit fabrics. I've not used the roll hemming device or anything else. I am looking for differential feed though as I have found this useful over the last 10 year. Also looking for 4 thread overlocking.

Budget - moveable £200 - £600.

When I rang my nearest Bernina shop, in Leamington Spa, she said she had no machines in and couldn't give me a price as, 'Prices were altering day by day'.........she claimed she had to ring the Bernina distributor to get a price? Anyone else had this experience?

All comments welcome as I'm really trying to make up my mind.

I've just bought a new Janome 9102D off Ebay (paid £124 plus p&p) It has all the facilities to do as you've mentioned and I'm really pleased with it. I used to use an industrial overlocker but they're just too big to have in the house so bit the bullet and bought this domestic sized machine - so far no regrets. It does everything, and more, that my old overlocker did and it's much easier to thresd up!
