Grievance proceedures

My Company doesnt have a formal grievance proceedure, but my grievance is with the MD, who do i go to to speak about this?

there is no appropriate union and i have raised it until I'm blue in the face with the MD

    Why aren't there any 'appropriate' unions - couldn't you even ask them for some initial advice? Or how about a lawyer specialising in employment law? Or how about Citizen's Advice?

    Could you give us a bit more information on the grievance you have?

    if your grievance is with the top man, and its a small company with no HR department, nothing much doing unless he's doing something illegal. Put up or leave - it's his company, and there is no higher authority internally.

    Do you think he is doing something illegal? Are you prepared to be a whistle blower?
