parcelforce are a pain, last time i was expecting a parcel i waited in all day (we have a main door buzzer which is rather loud) so i wouldnt miss it.
so the day goes by and no one at the door, no sound from the buzzer, not a peep. so i check the tracking number and its been taken to the post office, fair enough maybe its going there first...
then the next day an envelope comes in with the post saying 'we tried to deliver at 1pm yesterday but you werent home......
to say i was not pleased was an understatement, watch them carefully, theyll do anything to do less work

i think we must be lucky round our way with couriers and stuff

our postie, leaves things in the recycle bin for me, or takes it to the post office at the end of the road
the parcel force guy does the same thing
most dhl stuff comes through 'dhl home' which is a lady who lives in the same town as me and I think does it from home, if she comes when we are out you give her a call and she pops back in the evening when you are there (she came at 8pm one night cus thats when I called her
) Married on 5th March 2010still lurking on the wedding board tho :rotfl:0 -
MFG, Did you get the dresses? How are they?
My postie is wonderful too, We just moved and when I get things that need to be signedfor he signs them for me and posts them in. Makes things so much easier.
Although he did drop me in it with OH about number of parcels i was getting. hehe0 -
Parcelfarce is just a joke... After waiting on Saturday for redelivery, we had to go to the depot ourselves, grrr...
Anyway, the dresses are aboslutely gorgeous and so well made, I really did not expect that kind of quality: you are looking at something that would cost you £200 per dress. I did not take piccies but most of my girls are coming round on Saturday to try theirs on and I will put something on here afterwards.
I was so happy when i got them that I ran up an down the stairs 5 times in a row screaming my head off and tired myself out by pacing around the house while calling everyone involved.
Honestly, if my wedding dress is made by the same standards as these dresses then I do not have to worry about a thing!"Don't cry, Don't Raise your Eye

Forgot to say: the dress I ordered for my hen night and the rehearsal dinner is absolutely brilliant: just like all the dresses, it has inbuilt support for boobs. Mine actually felt more comfortable and fitted better without a bra and I am a 32G!!!"Don't cry, Don't Raise your Eye
