I've so far searched for wedding cars using google but have been put off by the high prices. I have a flyer for a local company but i'm unsure about prices. I've looked to see if they have a website but they don't so haven't taken it any further at the moment. So i'd say the internet is definitely the way to go, i never even think of somewhere like the yellow pages. I'm still hoping a friend is suddenly going to have a relative with a classic car stuck on their drive which we can use cheaply :D Good luck with this anyway, there's certainly good money to be made by it from what i've seen so far
  • Hi Loonytoons,

Thanks for your comments. Great to get an insight.

When I got married, my father in law organised the car so I by passed all of this !

Would be interested to get an opinion about what is classed as high prices. I had hoped between £140 - £200 depending on locality and time involved. Is this high? All local here seems to be £350 +

  • In relation to prices, I am having a 1928 Open Tourer Rolls Royce which is absolutely stunning and it is costing £350 which is for 2 trips to the church and then taking me and OH to reception.

£140 - £200 is definitely a price i would go for. Like you say, most prices are around £350. I wouldn't mind so much paying that if we were going quite a distance but the church is 5 minutes from the house and the reception 5 minutes from the church so it just seems a lot of money to pay when we're trying to cut costs. Good luck again with this, i'm sure once you've got the first few bookings, recommendations are invaluable :-)
