Marston's Marmite?

2

Comments

  • I saw it in Sainsburys (Romford) today next to the standard Marmite. I picked it up and showed it to my daughter, who would have been more excited if I had showed her a speck of dust, judging by her reaction. Oh well, more for me. Yum.
We could all learn a little something from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

Finally managed to get a jar today, and to be honest it tastes no different to standard Marmite :undecided

The Guinness one did at least have a stouty taste, can't say much for the Champagne one as I missed it.

I saw some in Tesco a while back, but it wasn't at all obvious how it was supposed to be different from ordinary Marmite - other than the red jar, and being more expensive!

It's made from yeast leftover from the brewing of Marston's...in theory it's supposed to add flavour...didn't work this time.

Ah OK, they could have made it a bit more obvious for those of us who have never heard of Marstons!
