How to make own artichoke tincture

Not sure if this is a difficult one, I use the artichoke tincture (think its called cynara) from the health food shop, its great for IBS but cost £9 a go which only lasts 2 weeks, I've seen a recipe in a book for making the tincture with artichoke leaves and vodka but needed to know how much vodka to how many leaves I should be using.
Thanks

Normally I use 200 - 300gms of herb to 1 litre of vodka, just downsize as you need. There is no hard a fast rule really, you could try try making a couple of different strengths and see wich works best for you.

Hope that helps, if you need any more info feel free to pm me.
