that's what I was thinking too, but my dad seems to like the meal idea..
she's mentioned having a BBQ this year so I figured combine the two, and if we have it the day after her actual birthday then there's no effort on her actual day ;)

    morning everyone,

Well done korky and everyone else who's won today. :j

Gemma...I would have said BBQ where she probably feels much better surrounded by her own company then at least you know she is gonna like the food too rather than pay for something she doesn't like. :)

Still hot here although we're expecting rain.

Hope everyone has lots of luck today & a blooody great friday! :D
    Of to post some comps!

now there's some logic I hadn't thought of playing! :D
she's like me, fairly fussy about her food and what she eats out...
staying at home means we can get tasty things and not pay a fortune..mmmmm MSE mode engaged ;)

Sorry Gemma, can't imagine myself as a 60+ lady yet :eek::o

But in my opinion, I would try and get mum to do something different, something that she won't be able to do on her own but would still like, not quite outside her comfort zone though. You must have some clue, no?

    It is RAINING :D:o

Ok another coffee and back to work
