The Compers Inn - Part 21

Phew...just posted a whole load of comps, some of which I'd love to win, all for Liverpool shows. Trying to redress the karmic balance so I can win more stuff including V Festival tickets. It's been a while since I really managed/bothered to post any competitions and I also love the feeling when people post on IWIWIW that they've won from one of my posts.0

I remember that song about "the stars are *something*?" by her, being forced to listen to it on the free music player on a Pendolino when I travelled a lot; wanted to throw myself out of the window of the train while it was at full speed.0

On a roll today, just spoken with sky, trying to get money off my bill, was offered 20% of bills for the next six months. :jThink it's about time the comping fairy remembered where I am! lol0

Oh no what's up Ru?
Do we need to have the Friday bonfire a day early?
Well done on your win though:):):):)
Just had a really snotty letter from the school nurse about DD2 - who has been having an "issue" lately with wiping her bottom after the loo - questioning her "personal hygiene" and asking me to put a proper routine in place before school as she is a bit whiffy sometimes.
My DD has multiple congenital abnormalities which includes duplicate organs and they are aware of her problems at school and I am angry, hurt and upset at their tone.
My DH has rung them and they said its a standard letter but I have found it most offensive and with my depression, its triggered a very mild attack but I will be OK! DH is coming to see them with me as I am so upset by it.
Sorry to offload guys! You don't need my miserable stories on this lovely day!
Thanks for caring tho Splodz xxxx

Aww hun, that's bad, it would make me  as well. xxThink it's about time the comping fairy remembered where I am! lol0 -
(((DP))) I hope you feel better soon; they shouldn't be sending out standard letters to individuals who they know have specific problems, and in fact, a letter is the cowards' way out. And it's not as if there's much you can do about the problem.0
