Thanks hun, just still can't believe that she is gone even though she had been ill with the cancer for a long time. It doesn't make it any easier.

But i think it is harder at the mo as i am in a bad place - and also on prozac xxxx

I am absloutly whacked! And I've a huge headache -I've even managed to take some painkillers!! Obs all my energy is being used to fight this infection I've got!
Think I may be off work for a while, got appointment tomorrow at 1:30 for my GP, see if she can change my medication to one I can take and see if I can get a sick note - I know I can self-certificate for one week, but my work are !!!!!!!!
Still - with this time off I'm going get on the regular board I think - can anyone tell me, the daily, weekly and monthly stickies at the begining of the board have got all the posts in, so I only have to go in there and not through the whole board??

Time to get kiddies to bed I think and then a night on sofa, before early bed.

I just need some honest advice please, I know you don't all know me well but I haven't anyone neutral to talk to this about...

Well...

Me and 2 friends (dont know them very well, very recent friends) decided to book a holiday and get away, had a really tough year ya know. Anyway, we paid weekly and I put £200 down (out of 600) when my doctor advised me that I shouldn't go away, I would need some treatment for my Crohn's which requires going into hospital.

I didnt haven insurance yet so wasn't entitled to all my money back, and I was worried the 2 girls would have to pay loads extra if I dropped out. When we spoke to the Travel agents to sort it out, he was great. He said that I wouldn't get the £200 back but was entitled to £60 of it. He said the girls wouldn't have to pay extra either and the easiest way was for them to pay me the £60 rather than his send all the info to head office etc, the girls were cool with this.

Well, I messaged one of the girls 2 days ago and asked if I could possibly have the money and she sent a message back saying that she had to pawn her engagement ring to afford the holiday as they had to pay a cancelleation fee each of £75! That she feels guilty on her children as they are not goin away this year and she's spent all that money!!

The thing is, for the last few weeks her status' have been saying 'cant wait to get my tattoo' and .. is getting very drunk at her party' and the most recent one '... is looking for a touch screen phone if anyone is selling one'. Well I was very upset cos we are on the bones of our bum! We are eating hot dogs every day to try and save some money for this break away. My DD needs a pair of shoes n am worried I cant afford them.

I just don't know what to do. I let them down by not goin on holiday with them, but also lost £200. Do I have a right to be as angry as I am? I know she is good for the money really as her OH gets a lot. AARRGGHH!! I don't know what to do

I messaged her in a mood n wish I hadn't as I was quite angry. I just said that if I don't get it from them (£30 each!!) then I would go to the travel agents and get it done formally.

aww sweetiepie I dunno what to say hun, sounds like your friend isnt really being much of a friend at all tbh. ((((hugs)))) hope they realise they should pay up as agreed but if they dont then definitely do as you have said you will do. Concentrate on your health hun and sod people that arent really there for you when you need them xxxx.
