it's ok I've sorted it now - they seem really nice and I won on their twitter comp so thought it would be ok to post but she has already got loads of entries and most of them haven't visited the site! Lovely stuff on their, my mum would love some of it so going to try and save up to buy something for her birthday

    Glad it's all sorted. xx

    Hi everyone :D

Not been around much the last few days, heat and hayfever not a good combination for me and I've been thoroughly exhausted. Keep nearly falling asleep at work  feeling a bit better tonight, at work tomorrow but then one day off on Friday so better than nothing. Haven't comped for a while so about 80 pages behind too  just about to start my catch up whilst eating Roses I got for my birthday :D

    Hope everyone is well xxx

Does anyone else just sign up to facebook groups/pages when they see that a few people from here have joined them as they assume that there is a comp running or is it just me...

Remember very well the toilet in the yard and the newspaper on a nail!

I always remember my uncle getting one of the new fangled electric mangles he got his tie stuck in the rollers and nearly choked to death!

our kitchen also had great big stone flags and a big stone sink on four metal legs!

you may laugh but if you rented a TV from Redifussion they would give you a little red indian with a feather in his hair to put on top of the TV, just wonder if this would be politically correct in this so called modern society :D

Oh, i was just looking for the newspaper thread, and saw this post :)

My mum and dad had one of the redifussion dials on the window sill in their house, it was there till about 5 years ago when they knocked the house down, i always used to wonder what it was, and they just said "redifussion" and that they got it took out years ago :A cool, anyway thanks for the mini flashback :D
    :)
