last wedding we went to we gave £300, and was a good friend I grew up with. The engagement we went to last week we gave £200 as a family (me and OH) my mum and dad gave the same. I guess it depends how close you are as well. x

Bloody kills and they've given me capsules to take as antiboitics - I have real trouble swallowing tablets - had to come off the pill cos I couldn't swallow them anymore - explained this and basically was told tough!! How can I crush up capsules or take them easier - any ideas!! Its a big dose they've given me so must need to take it but atm I can't!!

well we used to be quite close until we were about 16 - only seen him once or twice a year for the past 3-4 years as I moved away but he phones me every few months and we get on well still. I just don't know what would be an acceptable amount?
TBH I would say between £20 - £50, depending how much you can afford

hope you're ok. I found that I can't take any tablets with plain water - smoothies are slightly easier - if they are capsules you shouldn't take them apart as the casing is used to help prevent it all being absorbed into your system at once.

thanks, that seems reasonable - my OH gave his friend who he doesn't even know that well £40 which I thought was excessive - think I'll try and stretch to £50 for this but will have to see what the bank balance is like on friday :o

I'm not doing anything - sitting here - occasionally doing a few comps, listening to capital radio for the pay your bills thing. Probably should be doing something more productive but I don't know what so nevermind
