Just used my Lidl voucher in Tesco. Asked first and they had to ring the office upstairs, who said no probs, if it wont scan then put it through as non scan. Used together with Morrisons £5 off and various others. :j0

But nothing yet. Ho hum...
Just called again, and was told that whilst it is Tesco's general policy to encourage acceptance of this, it is entirely up to the store manager's discretion whether or not any individual store will take them. Reading between the lines I suspect this may depend upon whether or not there is a Lidls nearby! The CS guy called my local while I waited and confirmed that my store is one of the good ones!
BUT CHECK YOUR LOCAL STORE FOR CONFIRMATIONI also have a morrisons voucher for this wk, does anyone know if i can be really cheeky and combine a morrisons voucher and lidl voucher for a shop and get a £10er 0ff?
I used both the Morrisons voucher and the DM £5-off-£25 non-food voucher yesterday, plus a few others, to reduce a £31 bill to £18 - and that was with a superviser scrutinising all my coupons, with a newbie cashier0 -
Wher are these and do tesco also accept these?
Yes they do
I get mine through the door with various other leaflets etc
they are usually £2.50 off £25 shop

According to my mother, London Lite has a 50p MOC Jobs paper/magazine.
I've no idea where Jobs is sold.“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”

My tesco's won't accept the lidl's voucher. Is there a national policy or is it always completely up to the store manager?0

I tried asking at Tesco newbury if they take LIDL 5 off 30 voucher and as soon as they saw may digging out the voucher, the staff told me they don't take it (so looks like they knew about it).Coupon-mad wrote: »I don't think we know for sure until we see them. Today's one is valid until Sunday and there are supposed to be another 4 after this, each day this week. I reckon it's worth buying a few copies each day anyway.
My best guess would be they will run from each Monday until Sunday for each consecutive week (like the Morrisons ones).
My best guess as far as Tesco is concerned is that this will be an uphill struggle but they should be taking them if Lidl is consider a 'major Supermarket' as defined under the coupon policy. And more than one person has already been told by Dundee that Tesco ARE accepting them - so dig your heels in at CS and hope someone believes you and/or phones Dundee (and gets the right answer from whoever answers...).
Don't throw them away, keep them for weeks and then try reclaiming with Dundee if need be.
Like the Morrisons ones, they won't scan, and many stores will just say no because they won't have been told any different. Or they might say no because there's no Lidl nearby (irrelevant tosh, that's not part of Tesco national policy). This will be just like the Morrisons ones, which in the end most Tesco stores are now taking. One store I know still isn't(!) but I have just gone ahead and spent the £30 anyway a few times, and kept the receipts ready to send to Dundee shortly.
For the sake of the cost of a few Daily Expresses in Waitrose - more than offset today by the use of the £1 at their tills (Tesco have blocked them but Waitys haven't), I will be buying a few copies I think. Then I will have some 20p off mocs for the next days copies, and more £1 mocs for immediate use in Waitys, each day this week.
You have to speculate to accumulate! :T0
