Want to do a bit of a tour around England and was wondering if anyone could point out

some nice places of interest for children and nice places to go, beaches, zoo's, theme parks etc. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

    Nettles, maybe say what areas you are thinking about and that way you might get some ideas.

    thats what i said:confused: give us a starting point or direction you want to go or even what time of year you are thinking of the OP first post must have took 2 minutes and i could easily have spent 20 replying. As i said let op start and i will try to help // dont have a go at me :A

    nettles, also remind us how old your children are.

    If they're as young as I think they are, and anything like the tiddlers I've had dealings with I wouldn't bother with a Grand Tour, tbh.

    They won't remember much of it, and unless they are super good travellers who really enjoy it, the travelling will be a nightmare! And IIRC you were a bit stressed about another journey, so just KIS (Keep It Simple).

    You're going to London, if you want to go to the coast from London I'd say Broadstairs but a) it's about 100 years since I went and b) we always went there because our local station was on the main line there! :rotfl:

    Or just stick a pin into some other region, honestly there's lots of fun stuff to do all over the UK these days!

    children are 5 and 2. We are willing to go anywhere, just would love to go tofun places for them as i live in country and my nearest town is 10miles away with nothing in it for children. Thanks.
