Hi SH
Sorry to hear about your car and kettle, cars are a pain, I want to get rid of mine at the end of July but OH doesn't want me to but I could do with the money I would get from it and I don't mind walking to the school (20 mins each way) as DD2 will be full time from September.
Good luck with the job interviews, hope you find something soon.
Our house is a tip too, housework comes after Ebay at the moment, especially for today and tomorrow as it's a free listing day tomorrow and I have 4 boxes of stuff to get rid of so want to see what I can get done. Might have to stay up very late tonight as the kids don't allow for much Ebay time during the day.
Just waiting for dinner to be ready and then am taking the kids to the local Country Park (if I can find it, haven't been before). Friday OH is taking the day off and we are going to go the seaside for the day, the kids have been couped up for a week and a half with the Pox and should not be contagious soon so we deserve a day out.
Didn't sell much on Ebay yesterday but have some things finishing tonight so hopfully will sell a few things, have some bids on some comics.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Am concentrating on Ebay today as it's a Free Listing Day, have 40 things so far, will relist what finishes tonight and am going to try and get lots more done (children permitting).
Must remember to do the Euromillions tomorrow as we are going out for the day (I think) and don't want to forget. I never win anything though which is a pain.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Hope ebay is working for you... and you get lots of dosh... Have a lovely day out tomorrow!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks SH, how are you?
Got about 56 things listed on Ebay on Thursday so was really pleased, I have bids on 2 things so far, one for 1.99 and the other for 5.99. Shame I couldn't get more done but with the kids off school and the baby up all evening I only got 4 things done very late in the evening.
We had a great day out yesterday, we went to Southend, it is lovely there, just what a seaside town should be. On the way there there had been an accident on the M25, all the traffic had stopped, it looked quite bad and we heard later on that the air ambulance had been called. When I logged in later yesterday evening there was a message on a forum that I use from someone saying that their mum had had an accident and it was the same accident we had seen.
Have a quiet weekend as OH is working today and tomorrow, have lots of tidying up to do and will have a bit of a rest.
No debt busting going on, am really skint at the moment, also have to find £163 for my Barclaycard payment so have to wait for my Child Benefit to go in.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
glad you had a nice day out. Hope your friend's mum will be alright
Hope you manage to get the money in in time
We are okay - my son has lost another 2.5lb on the diet we are doing - he is now at 6lb in total where I am at 4lb having lost some, put some back on and then lost some again LOL!
Not been out yet today - but could do with going to shops... for more foodAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi SH, glad to hear you and your son are doing well on your diets. Thanks very much for all your repies to my diary, I know it's not very exciting reading (as no one else is leaving any messages) but at least I will be able to look back in a year's time and see how much I manage to pay off.
Counted up my 10ps last night and have £5 to pay off a debt, not a lot but every bit helps.
Today we have OH's Uncle's birthday party in a pub so that will be nice, my three will be able to play with all their cousins. At least it's a nice day again today, had a great storm yesterday evening, I do love storms, we were waiting for the eldest two to come running down when the thunder was really loud but they didn't they stayed in their beds which was good.
Got a few bids on some of the things I listed on Ebay the other day so am quite pleased. Will try and get a few more things put on today and every day this week.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
Hi TMD you are welcome - perhaps you should repost the link on cafc girl's paperhat challenge.... Also if you start replying to other diaries some people may follow you... If you look at the number of views tho - people do read...
I am just hoping that one day we will be on the DFW roll of honour and will be able to look back at all this and laugh and chill and know it was worth it!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Paid £163 to Barclaycard (rounded up minimum payment), DD2 has just put 27p into sealed pot, it's getting quite full now must be at least half full, can't wait until 1st December to open it.
Waiting for my brother to let me know when he wants us round at the weekend so my two eldest can try on their flower girl dresses and be measured as a friend of my brothers is fitting the dresses. It's OH birthday on Thursday still haven't got him anything yet, I asked him what he wanted but he said he would let me know (he's leaving it a bit late).
Am out tonight with a friend so will try and leave a bit earlier and go to the Retail Park at Kew and see if there is anything in M&S or one of the other shops that I can get him.
Will be glad when it's the end of August and all the kids birthdays are out of the way and the wedding is over, we are going to Lithuania for the wedding (my brothers fiance is from there), could do without the expense really but can't miss my brother getting married.
Have quite a few things finishing on Ebay this week thanks to the cheap listing day last week, so hopefully can make a bit extra to pay off a debt.
Starting to regret cutting up my credit card, but then I am glad I'm not adding to the debt.
Anyway, that's all for now.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
hi, cutting up the credit card always seem like a harsh hit of reality doesn't it? I don't think we ever really stop and tell ourselves no whilst ever we have them. I pay mine off each month but still use it, so my next challenge is to wean myself off using it this month (July) so i won't have to use it at all in August. You are better than i at listing things on ebay, i did do some a couple of years ago but the recent changes have really put me off, i have done a couple of car boots/table top sales recently which have helped so need to declutter some more so we have more to sell at the next one.0
