Aviva Endowement - What to so with it

Hi Guys

I currently have a Aviva Endowment with is no longer offset against any mortgage as we have went on to a Repayment mortgage 2 years ago.

I am wondering if it would be best to cash in/sell the endowment (if I can) and add the monthly payment to my mortgage repayment

I currently pay £ 70.00 per month, the policy has been going for 10 years and was set up to offset my old £40000 endowment mortgage

Is it worthwile paying in to this endowment or am I best getting rid? (is it as simple as that)

I also recently received a Reattribution pack from Aviva with an offer of £279.00, is this some sort of con from them or is it worth taking the money - what would I lose out on (in real English) if I voted yes and what would I gain from voting no

Any suggestions, I know absolutely nothing about these things

Vote yes to the reattribution pack, it is not a con, you will get the money, but only if you say yes.When is the money due to be paid in?

They will require you to collect some info.When you have that info, come back here and post it so we can give you a view about the policy.Also tell us the interest rate on your mortgage ( this is relevant even though the two are no longer connected).
