The delivery estimate was 4 weeks, if after 6 weeks it's not recieved as per original order simply issue another LBA.
I did have a strange feeling about this, maybe they want us to accept any new order under the new T&C's (lol).
Time will tell, very curious to see what gets delivered.

 I hadn't even thought of that.
I don't trust B&Q as far as I could throw their water butt.0 -
The old fashioned phrase was TDP = 'time, date and place'- which is what we all need to know about everything - when, where - and maybe 'how' as well.0
-
I emailed B&Q and asked about them supplying the water butts and they just sent their we've told you our stance and lump it response.. Guess I'll have to take them to court.. It's a bit silly really as it will end up costing them more surely?0

It's been said many times now and you do need to sue to get anything.
Agree it does seem silly, but for everyone that doesn't sue it will save them - though how much are BP charging??
If they did the honourable thing in the first place and accepted that they formed a "legally binding contract", then this could have been sorted a lot quicker and eveyone would have had their butts/tanks by now - even the ebay punters.
Oh, and welcome - whoever you may be??

Can I ask if you sue do B and Q pay for the court costs?
Also has anyone else received their tanks? Or in fact anyone at all?
And, does their offer of the tanks get enforced through the courts or does the legal bit all end?
Thanks in advance0 -

I haven't received a tank and don't know of anyone who has.
The deal B&Q are offering is to sell you a tank "on a purely commercial basis" in exchange for your cancelling court proceedings. It's worth thinking about what happens if you accept their offer, cancel your court proceedings and then get a letter from B&Q citing stock issues as preventing them fulfilling the order. As per their new T&C's, you wouldn't have any recourse.0 -
The difference is maybe we are not now dealing direct with B&Q, we are dealing with BP. I'm assuming it's BP who will take any payment??
The tanks need no futher ordering as such, just delivered once we pay BP.
B&Q will repay court costs.
