think it would help if we knew how long this food has to be stretched out for, as could suggest big meals for a few days or really simple meals for longer.

    Do you like quiche?

Make up savoury rice according to packet, put in fridge till chilled and then press into base of flat tin or oven proof dish (that is your 'pastry')

chop onions and peppers and cook over a low heat until softened, then pop into fridge and chill.

Grated courgettes are also nice - no need to precook them just throw them into the egg mixture - but don't use mushrooms as they make the egg mixture go watery

Beat egg, add grated cheese and cooled onions/peppers (you can also add cold bacon chopped up)

Pour over rice and cook at gas mark 5 for about 45 mins.

Good with chips and tinned tomatoes or beans (or jacket potatoes and salad if you are feeling virtuous)

As the chicken is already cooked i would use that up first.

Chop into tiny pieces and add to fried bacon and onions until heated through then add to cooked pasta. For sauce i usually use a tin of condensed soup which has been let down with some water but you could use the white ragu sauce i think. I`ve never used the ragu jars so i`m not sure how they are flavoured but with the bacon etc they shouldn`t need much. huge pan of food for very little :D

Chicken paella (no sea food involved)
chicken and bacon bake (chicken, bacon, onions, courgettes, diced spuds, garlic, olive oil all cooked in oven)
    Chicken fahitas
turkey with savoury rice and salad?
Rib roast steaks with chips and onion rings?
tuna & broccoli pasta bake (tuna, tin of chopped toms, cooked broccoli, pasta, grated cheese)
Cheese, onion and pepper quiche served with salad and new spuds
chicken cooked with Heinz BBQ sauce, chips and salad?
Spag bol (from half packet of mince)
Cottage pie (from half packet of mince), chuck in as much veg as you like and top with sweet potato for a change? Or just use normal mash?
chicken casserole with turnip, onion, beans etc

Any of those tickle your tastebuds?

    What about fish cakes?

    Mash potato
    Tinned Tuna
    Sweetcorn

mix together, season, shape into fishcakes and chill in fridge for half an hour, then fry in a little oil in a hot pan.

I add some finely chopped onions to the mixture, just because I like them, but you could also add herbs, or some spices to give them a 'bite' if liked

You can also press them into some flour on a plate if you like them a bit crispy

    HM wedges are easy!

Scrub potatoes and cut into wedges with skin left on.

Put in pan of cold water and bring to boil.

Boil for 5 mins, then drain and dab dry with a clean tea towel (or kitchen towel)

While doing this pre-heat the oven to about gas 7 with a metal baking tin with a small amount of oil in. When hot, put the drained wedges in and give a good stir to coat them in the hot oil, then liberally sprinkle the seasoning of choice over them (Aldi do a tub of season that is quite cheap and lasts ages, but you can use any stir-fry powder, or packet of seasoning mix, or even a sprinkling of paprika, or grind some pepper into a bowl add some sea salt, mix well and sprinkle over wedges)

Bang back in a hot oven for until cooked and crispy (about 30 mins)

Actually, if you are on a health kick, you can leave the oil out, it does work, but the wedges tend to be drier and not so crispy.

a lot of the things you have can be used as fillings for the baked potatoes, cheese, butter, chopped chicken, veg in sauce, etc etc
