sicilian cous cous

hi foodies,

does anyone know where i can buy uncooked sicilian cous cous? it is a larger grain and when cooked is the size of a small pea?

i can buy this cooked but not uncooked :confused:

    Hi,
    I think this is called Frigola Sarda.
    It is similar to couscous but it is made of hand rolled balls of coarsely ground semolina.
    It is also known as Italian couscous. I have only seen it in my local deli.
    Never seen it in a supermarket, and I do the rounds in all of them!

    Oh. Don't know if this is similar as I have never tried it, but, Israeli cousous, found in Kosher supermarkets! Apparantly it is delicious.

    have u tried sainsburys they have a counter in our local one with nice ingredients on it....oils and vinegars etc
