Glad to help. I've just made a phone call lou to a guy I know who is an awesome drummer, he does loads of work for the BBC. He happens to be in your town. He's away until the end of next week but I'll sound him out about giving your lad some lessons... mate's rates.

    I think I might actually love you:smileyhea

    awwwww :o

All I can say is that if your boy has the passion and dedication I will bust a gut for him to make sure he's being trained properly. If you were close to me I'd take him under my wing properly. I wouldn't give him too many lessons myself, I wouldn't inflict that on the poor lad, I'm a harsh and horrible teacher. If they're not crying and their hands aren't bleeding they aren’t working hard enough :rotfl:And I think Fran is worse than me. Our students used to breathe a sigh of relief when we got our friend Steve to do our lessons for us.

One great thing about being up north is that you have the social club circuit to pay your dues and learn to gig live. We've all been there :) when he has the confidence he should think about putting a club band together and get gigging.

Found DDs phone-in the back of my car!
More fingers crossed for DH please-the sim kept breaking down so they had to keep starting over, which (as you can imagine) meant they "lost their place" mentally, so he has to go back tomorrow and try another machine..bah!

but will you tell DD its there or make her feel guilty for loosing it a while longer?

I am sorry be shot off without staying to play but the kids were shattered and held it together JUST. They were asleep in the car within seconds.
