Is it ok to prepare marinade two days before?

So I decided to try this Jamie Oliver Chicken kebab recipe, except I've forgot to buy the chicken (doh!) so i'm wondering if I prepare the marinade today and put it in the fridge ready for tomorrow to pop the chicken into, will it still be sufficiently fresh and yummy? I'm going to leave the chicken in the marinade overnight for Sunday (Would have been Saturday but for forgetting the chicken!)

with marinades as long as they are in the fridge, generally the longer the meat is in it the better it tastes and two or three days is not unusual0
