how long for OR to contact creditors?

Hi,

I went bankrupt on 24/03/09 through the L.i.l.a route in Scotland and was told by my official receiver/Trustee that it can take 60 days to inform my creditors, does this mean 60 working days as i just spoke to a creditor and they haven`t been informed yet.

I would assume 60 working days. Timescale varies from office to office. Sometimes even when notified your creditors will not always action things immediately, something to do with the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.

yeah iquit i`ve experienced so much of left hand not knowing what right hand is doing, most of the folk are fine on the phone but don`t seem to have all the info for doing there jobs correctly.
