I know when i reduced things i would always vary the times when i reduced the stuff, i was told management were goin got be more strict on when reductions were done but i was never given tight deadlines to get them done, i do know that sainsburys have a policy where any reductions that are left over at the end of day are sent to a site where they are recycled to create heat/energy to power a depot but what i dont know is if the stores reduce food to 20p/30p or if they reduce them to 50p and leave them at that

As mentioned on the site they were doing reductions in ASDA at 9pm last night. Got melon for 10p, cooked chicken for 55p (down from 4.00) and some cooked southern fried chicken drumsticks for 50p, 2 x 2 salmon fillets for 1.00 a pack. Nice!

    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

For all you Waitrose shoppers the self serve cakes section - if you check the price of the machine it will sometimes tell you if the doughnuts are reduced - even when there is no reduction label!!!
