What's the deal?

As another MoneySaver has noted below, Tesco is selling the single-disk version of Narnia in store this week for £9.76. Currently that's the cheapest price around for the single disk version.

What should I do?

Deals in Martin's Money Tips, often run out quickly so if you're reading this later in the week do check the rest of this discussion to see if other MoneySavers are reporting it's run out.

If it has, then use the search facility on Find DVD to check where it's cheapest.

The new Narnia DVD is out Monday.

Don't pay £20.99 - it's £12.49 inc P&P here.

They've also got the 2-disc version at £14.49 - RRP £24.99.

I pre-ordered the 2 disc version with HMV for £14.99, had a £1 off coupon from McDonalds so £13.99, it was delivered yesterday!!

What's the point of having an RRP of £20 when it's sold on day one for half that?

Does anyone know if the Tesco offer is dependent on buying another dvd or chart cd - as in the Harry Potter DVD offer.

No the offer is on its own so it is the best deal for the one disk. But tesco are charging £16.99 for the two disk version which is only £15.99 in Sainsburys bu sainsburys have got the one disk at £12.99.

I checked the website and it had it down as 13.99

It is only in-store. My mum just bought it for my son. When she told me the price I told her she must have gotten the wrong one. But she described it and it is right. On-line it is around £13.99. So bargain!!! :j

Yes I bought one in Tescos today and it was £9.76 and they also have the 2 disc version for £16 odd

I'm glad you got it. When I saw it today, I thought about you and was going to reply to the thread you started earlier.

I'm going to wait a bit longer. I have a £5.00 max for dvds and only cross this line for the occasional Disney.
