Still none of the RE stuff is near me...but at least things are starting to show up on there now for me!I'm wondering why a round pizza comes in a square box - :rolleyes:0

Just been to Tesco (an I allowed to say that word here) and bought myself a really great month planner - its about 30" x 20", solid construction with a dry wipe marker - its perfect for the job and only a fiver! Now theres's a paradox.
One post telling us you get no jobs and the next post telling us how you got this BIG board to put .....what on?
LOL, now you got the big board maybe the big jobs will follow.

Mystery shopping is our lot, we search to find our tasks
Just to earn an extra quid we trawl the super marts
We might be lucky in a while to find a freebie meal
Or even on a good day some petrol for our wheels
The bet we placed in earnest might win a bob or two
But if the day is really bad we all know what to do
We log on to the forum and have a little chat
Comparing notes and grumbles too is really good to do
There’s lots of really good advice and lovely people too
This makes me think it’s all worth while
SO THANKS TO ALL OF YOU !!
Love from Anna x xI'm wondering why a round pizza comes in a square box - :rolleyes:0 -

Just noticed that to accept the hamburger jobs on GAP we have to agree that our names/addresses/phone numbers are given to the client.
Is this new, or did I just not notice it before?
It's not new, that has always been there.
There have been cases of MSers being sacked because they had worked for the client (behind the counter, I mean) in the past. This is a very paranoid client.*
*With good reason. The world IS out to get them!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

P.s. I'm not sure if you a referring to me as using MS as a way to "earn a lot of money" (and taking the Glasgow jobs from you). However, I am well aware of how much each MS pays and after spending hours reading details on the MS websites, I am also well aware that it is never going to replace an income. However, as jdan9 has shown in his signature, it can be a great supplement!
Anyways, I apologise again, I didn't mean to waste peoples time or clog up the board!
Dean I wasn't aiming at you in particular. Or anyone for that matter. And I don't mean people on the forum are nabbing all the Glasgow jobs. There seem to be loads of MS'ers in Glasgow for some reason. Probably many of them don't even know about our forum.
When I joined the forum many like me were experienced MS'ers. Yes we did help each other happily with problems. But the best part for me was MS'ing is a lonely occupation so it was great to share experiences, share some of the frustrating parts like websites which wouldn't work ( huess which one!! prize to the 1st correct answer>
I have made a lot of good friends on here like Josie, Timmne, jobbing musician, TG, Bryssnn etc.
We never though had any bickering. We were all happy to help out.
Many of the people I got to know well have PM'd me saying they seldom even look on here now.
I only dip in now and again due to family illness so I am seldom even at home currently but as Scotsbob says every cloud has a silver lining. Hubbie now knows where the Dyson is although the washing machine to like trying to teach a 4yr old how to fly a jumbo jet.
So I hope I haven't hurt anyone's feelings but welcome to all the newbie's and I hope you enjoy MS'ing. I am happy to help any of you as is everyone else.
But it is things like because I have only time to skim the threads I constantly see the same questions again and again. For example I couldn't count how many times Gyp shoppers ask "Can I take anyone with me to the burger/pizza whatever."
So it would help if you spend some time researching the entire thread and read the 1st page.
Maybe it would help if we added a sticky with FAQ's about each individual company.
I propose Scotsbob any seconders.:rotfl:It would help his care in the community order no end.""""
Cheers everyone and please don't anyone take offence as that is not my intention.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
I haven't put this on the Alerts as it's just for specific areas:
I've just had an email from rqa-europe about Mystery Visits to places where you can adopt animals -you have to assess the place etc & it's a good fee. They want a variety of people to visit and check them out - the report afterwards is supposed to take 20 minutes or so.
You can adopt the animal if you want to but don't have to!!
I wish one of them were near me but they are in:
Worcester, Herts, Sussex, N.Yorkshire, Oxon, Cambs & Devon if anyone is interested.
The email does say if you know anyone who is interested etc let them know so thought it would be OK to post on here! I've been registered with rqa for ages but not done any work for them - if you're interested PM me & I can give you the details of who to contact.
Oh sounds good. I would love to adopt a cuddly bear.Might keep my 2 little Cairn terriers in their place. And I could fling hubbie out.:rotfl:Clique member no 1.:D0
