Is there some sort of secret for seeing the jobs on aba i? I'm sorry I know I've asked this before but I'm entering the * to see locations all over the country and I have about 6 clients on my list but absolutely nothing has come up since I joined. I'm not sure if I have a full client list on there or if I'm just not the right age/sex etc. Please help!

I only ever see jobs on two clients.. there must be some secret. I'll PM you which clients I see jobs on if you wish...

So, you mean you know who it was then? Did they PM you and tell you who it was? I have my suspicions about Dormouse, given the way s/he reacted, but s/he said it wasn't her/him

I'm intrigued! Do give us a cryptic clue!

No need to have suspicions about Dormouse, if she had as you all say "snitched" she would have told you so!. Shes a nice woman and up front with her comments and I respect that . I very rarely get involved but I find this comment about her so pathetic. I am sure she can fight her own battles but I just had to comment. What is this all about really?

I think you will spend way more than you will ever make, you need to do loads of paperwork.I hope you find time for fun and you gotta go on your own.I bet you dont do another/Dont wanna be a damp squid sorry.

Sorry to be pedantic (but I can't help it, honest, it is my key character defect).

As squid are always by their, very watery, nature damp I think you meant a damp squib - firework consisting of a tube filled with powder that burns with a fizzing noise.

    Anyway, we caught your drift.

that's probably correct but back home (my uneducated lot) say damp squid all the time so it might also be a regional expression used in some areas, I for example read it and understood and its even possible I have said it as well :o

Must be honest I had to look it up, I always thought it was damp squid..you learn something everyday!

Quote from the 10 most misquoted phrases in Britain:rolleyes:

Top of the league is a "damp squib", a term for failure named after a dud 19th century explosive mining device, which is often mispronounced as "damp squid."
So I am with gmac9i and it was a common mistake:p:rotfl:a top ten infact! lol

    Regional, possibly.
    Malapropism, definitely.

    Thanks saveit, you are right.

To anyone else who wants to take me to task - I did start off by apologising for being a pedant . . .
