I've yet to do my first job for them yet - although I've only applied for the recent calls/email ones as nothing else appears to have been near me yet - and I'm too young for car circuits!
I have been registered with BARE since last August and have never been accepted for a job, despite applying for a dozen or so. I don't have an unusual profile:A, am of a reasonable age but the site rarely shows any jobs near me (and I live in a very big city). Also, I'm not aware of the training?
I still log in regularly but feel like the BARE site and I have a rather hostile relationship.....:mad: I don't like applying for things and then never hearing anything back from them.
Others on here, even relative newcomers, seem to be getting on OK with them....? Is it just me, guys..?:o0 -

It took me 6 months to get my first jobs with Bare, and even then it was only after they phoned me to ask if I could do a car circuit when they were desperate (but I couldnt do it) that I asked for some other job instead.
If you're waiting for jobs might be worth dropping them an email to ask if theres anything you can do to make you more likely to get an assignment with them.
Still only ever done one test for them but they are lovely if you can speak to them on the phone - just dont call them yourself as theyre in Belgium (?) and it would cost a bomb but when they've phoned me in the past Ive been left a UK number to dial which redirects to them making it cheaper.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Has anyone done an RE visit to a pub chain's own hotel brand?
I've picked up a job at one but I didn't even know the cutlery pubs had hotels!
Feeling a bit unsure about it as I'm not a huge fan of the pubs themselves!0 -

Whenever I've had to phone them (even on the UK number) the first thing they say is "wait and we'll call you back to save your phone bill" - so nice to get an MS company who cares about their shoppers!

@Charliezoo
You might as well have just named the client - please, don't try to be cryptic, just say it's "a pub". :mad::mad::mad:
There are not that many hotels in this chain. I stayed in one in cotland at the back end of last year. It was pretty good for the money, slightly better than Travelodge and the like, and even cheaper!

I cannot see the pet or retail on RE? I can't have missed them as I've been refreshing the page every couple of minutes much to the annoyance of my husband! :rolleyes:'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.' :cool:

I actually just took that name from the alerts thread, I just assumed that was what they were known as.
I'm not entirely sure what I did to deserve 3 angry faces from you0 -

Yes, funny how everyone else in the room gets annoyed at the 'refreshing game' :rotfl: I regularly play it for hours and sometimes get my teenage son to fill in while I cook.... otherwise he starves....:j0
