Mattress Foam Toppers - worth investment??

Hi, am thinking of getting a foam mattress topper from Costco's or somewhere, think they are approx £120 - does anyone have any advice please as to whether they are a worthwhile purchase? Thanks...

After much discussion we bought one about 2 - 3 weeks ago and we love love love it! If I can ever save the money I will get the foam mattress but the topper on its own is great for us. Highly recommend it. I have actually slept thru the night without waking some nights and that is a rarity for me.

I knw there are shops on EBay selling them but in the end I bought ours from Dreams. It came with a cover as well as a 5 year guarantee which those on EBay didn't.

what about the memory foam mattress itself for the same price?
We got one for £120 from Ikea. Took about a week to get used to ..now wouldn't swap it.
