Barclays Bank Account Default

I sent a letter to Barclays asking them to provide me with evidence that they sent me a default notice.
I sent the letter dated 13/04/2009 asking them to provide the information, and a copy of the alleged agreement with a £1 postal order, to;

I have received the letter back today with two date stamps and a hand written compliments slip asking me to provice the sort code and account number for the load/credit card? The bank account sort code and account number was on the letter!!

The address above is the one I got my my Credit Expert account. Does anyone have an address for Barclays Bank Account Default section?

I would just send it to the main head office address. Did you use a template letter including the bit about the 12 day deadline to produce the agreement? Did you send recorded delivery?

I don't know if they will provide proof that they sent you a default notice. If they don't/won't then you may need to do a full subject access request (£10) under the DPA.

Just had a letter from Barclays saying that my account has been paid in Full.
If anyone else needs the address it is as follows.

I was told the Data Exceptions Dept in Dartford deal with the imput and removal of data on credit files, they only deal by post, no contact no. However when asked who would I contact regarding incorrect information that Barclays have put on file regarding an old Goldfish credit card, they said that you have to get that corrected by sending it to this address

Please can someone confirm if this is correct ie Dartford deal with Current accounts/loans etc but the above address deals just with the credit card side of business?

Barclays bought Goldfish in February 2008 so on the credit file for previous Goldfish stuff it shows Barclays Bank Plc (I) as the legal owner of the data.

Sent off an SAR request last week, finally got a response today saying they will provide me with all the information that they have on me!
