Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I'm going to try the password recovery disc thingies. I'm worried about getting hold of an XP boot disk, as I had to use one before (years ago on an old computer) and it kept coming up with microsoft genuine notification stuff!

Sorry I haven't replied 'til now, been away from home and haven't had access to the net.

I'll give these ideas a bash, and let you know how I get on.
