  • No not based in Devon.

If i got a personal loan, it'd have to be for 10k, which would affect my mortgage (they'd re-credit score me), plus, the loan payment with mortgage payment would be more a month than i'm willing to pay, or indeed, can pay

In addition, the mortgage lender won't accept a personal loan as a source of deposit and I don't think you'll find a personal loan provider willing to lend for that purpose.
  • Exactly, I am screwed from all angles! however, i am not willing to go into financial jeopardy to do this anyway, the whole thing is just a real big shame. its an amazing flat for an amazing price and i am going to lose it due to the 20% deposit thing. Oh well, its fate isnt it
