Hello,
We are coming to the end of our fixed rate. We have just sold our house and are in the process of it all going through.
We rang London and Country as they were brilliant before but this time they didnt seem interested in helping us.
We are looking to buy a house around 175k. We have at the moment a 10% deposit. So therefore need a 90% LTV mortgage. We have just been on the phone to C&G our current mortgage lender and the best they can do is 7.2% interest rate on a 5 year fixed rate.
I have been researching the web and have found Nationwide have started doing 95% LTV but only for existing customers.
I really wish I was a Nationwide customer now! I could scream!!!!!

Britannia may be an option.
Why not see a whole of market mortgage adviser though. Let them do the donkey work!0 -
We tried London and Country and they really werent interested. Advised us to speak to our surrent supplier which we have done.
Just done a search on money supermarket and Brtannia have come up the best.
The thing is, we do have the 10% after saving hard, but knowing there are 95%'s on the market as really annoyed me. We are getting married next year son only having to pay the 5% would really help us. Gone are the days of irresponsible lending though!!! Ah well.....0 -
Does anyone know of anyone else doing 95% mortgages??? ha0
