Well all the rooms were gone by 12.06 - sadly I kept getting rejected by the server so missed out.

I got one finally for end Nov, a nice time for xmas shopping for me and the other half! I been trying for about 2 years so glad i finally got one!

They said on their site that if they catch people doing that they would cancel all their bookings. Watch your email before you go!! Even if you used two different names it's still the same home address (well usually).

I was able to get a room for £29 and my girlfriend another room for £29 - didn't even bother with £1 link - hotel is more than worth £29 a night so really happy

Have to admit I had 4 different web browsers open (IE8,Chrome 6, Opera 10.6, Firefox 4) and out of all of them only Opera got to the booking stage whilst the rest stalled.

Love the browser even more now.

Just realised...will they cancel the bookings? Even though it was paid on 2 different cards with 2 different names?

Yes we do but I have just read the T & Cs relevant to the £1 link:

Can a couple book one night each at a £1?
Please note that we have limited the number of rooms that can be booked during the sale. Yes you are allowed, as the rules state that you are only allowed to book one room, for one night PER PERSON at a £1. If we find that any individual has managed to book more than 1 room at this rate, we reserve the right to cancel the all bookings and we will notify you that we have done this by e-mail with cancellation numbers.

Although it doesn't mention the £29 rate my understanding is if the above applies then I should be alright.

Check the FAQs, I think it used to be allowed for a couple to get 2 consecutive nights if booked seperately. Don't know if it's still the case but I'm certain it was in the FAQs

Yeah! First time Ive tried for this, and although the site crashed horribly a couple of times, I managed to get through and grab a £1 room for January. Cool. Really looking forwards to it now, just have to think what to do in London to make a night out of it?

Anyone got any money saving ideas for how to see wicked?:beer:
