Hi
BR means Basic Rate. This means that all your taxable earning are being taxed at 20%.. You should have a P45 from Job Centre to pass on to your new employer, or ask your employer for a form P46, this will ensure you are on the correct tax code0 -
Phheww, thats Ok then! Well I gave my new employer Part 2 & 3 of my P45 from my last company (got Job centre P45 in post today). Could they not of used that tax code?
that would have been too easy!
We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
Depends - if the date on your P45 was previous tax year you can only use that code up until a certain date into the new tax year.0
-
google 'P46', complete it today and hand it to your employer tomorrow.0
