Morrisons voucher misprint

Apologies if someone has posted something about this already.

I tried to use my £5-off-a-£30-spend voucher from The Sun in Morrisons this week only to be told that it was the wrong date. I thought I picked up the correct one but as each week looks similar I assumed I made a mistake. However, on closer inspection when I got home, this week's voucher says "Valid Monday June 15 until Sunday June 21" in the text, but on the bottom left of the voucher it says "Week 01/06/09-07/06/09". It really is this week's voucher, but the Sun must have made a misprint.

I suspect the checkout person was clued up because she made a point of saying that it is the date "in the bottom left" that determines when it is valid.

Has anyone else got a voucher for this week? Have a look if yours has different dates too. Cost me an extra tenner!

yes i did but tesco took it off me no probs. I noticed the different dates but said nothin. we delighted she took it, I've never used a different stores voucher in another store!!

No problem using mine in Tesco's. I circled the correct dates to make it easier for the SA to see the date. She did notice the wrong date bit but ignored it.
