What shall I do?

I made a claim for Jobseeker`s Allowance 7 weeks ago and still haven`t recieved any money. I have called the info number to find out what is going on actually I am calling this number everyday since Friday and the only thing they are able to tell me is that someone will call me in 24h. When I try to talk to the supervisor they say that she is busy at the moment and she will call me back as soon she can. I have also applied for a council tax and housing benefit but cannot recieve any of those till I provide a proof of recieving a Job Seeker`s Allowance.What shall I do???

This happened to me as well. You need to inform the council that you are still awaiting your JSA claim to be processed so they wont close your claim.

Nothing much to do but wait really. Keep pestering them though, and demand to speak to the Supervisor, or go in and ask.

People are being made redundant every day, they are coming here for advice to cope with the difficulties of not being able to gain employment.
