I have a Friends Provident Stakeholder Pension. 18 months amgo I moved all y pot into a fixed interest fund (UK gilts) and for the last months have been totally in the cash fund. I'm now contemplating putting a toe back into something more risky. I am considering

both are riskier asset classes and therefore should be 'expected' to provide you better returns than Fixed Interest & Cash over the long term. Very market volatile in the short term as demonstrated recently!
