Hello all,
Currently reaching the end of fixed rate mortgage (5.2 %) and hoping to remorgage property. Probable house value now is only £110,000. Owe £65,000 on mortgage, want to remortage for an extra £10,000. Have good credit history, no unsecured or secured debts- income approx £30,000 a year. Would I be able to remortgage for this amount and where could I find the best rate? Keen to go for a fixed rate if possible but open to suggestions if it saves money!
Thanks in advance,

£75k on a £110k property will be under 70%
Income is £30k with no debts - so fine
Should be easy to find a deal - however if looking at fixed rates move quickly as lenders are pushing these rates upwards
If you are confident to DIY look at the compariosn sites, otherwise get in touch with a whole of market adviser and let them find you a good dealI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
