i have looked through some of the things on offer and there are a few bargains to be had.
however i often wonder about the original selling prices listed during sales.Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
Cos if you do it today and like it...You can do it again tomorrow..

Saw a TV in their sale today went to the shop to buy it and found out that it's home delivery only?
Why advertise the TV at £399.99 when you have to add another £5.80 so it really costs £405.79.0 -
Sorry MSE but when I read this news story - it felt more like a press release from Argos. So:-
- what about always reminding people to shop around? Yes it may be on sale at Argos but is anywhere else doing a deal on say a warranty or cashback? This would have helped balance the article with a short mention about this.
- like someone else added above, a bargain is only a bargain if its "existing" sale price is a bargain price. Comparison to before/after (percentages or otherwise) can be meaningless and just sales hype. Again this would have made the article less hype and with a bit more bite.
Ok it did say at the end, that you may not be able to get all the bargains (always the case with Argos). So I relinquish that Argos would not have said that!
