Hi
I have just booked to go and see Westlife with a friend in May.This is costing me £35 for the ticket----feel quite good as for once I have got the monies saved---not putting it on a CC!!!
We usually take a holiday in May but I knew we couldnt afford it this year---usually i would have had the holiday and gone to see Westlife----all courtesy of my CC!!!
So i feel good---I will enjoy the night knowing i had saved up for it(out of my £2 pot!!)--and much as I will miss having a hol this spring I know that it is better to get the debts paid off first!!!(most of my debts are down to holiday!)
Thanks to all the wonderful people on MSE!!!

Well done gilly41 i am sure the night will be an even better one because of you knowing its all paid for in the way it should be

Plus you have given me a great idea, i love going to gigs and was wondering how i could do that when i am tryinging hard to be a good DFW nerd but your post has made me think about it and i have found the solution. There is one band i simply would hate to miss when they play England so i will miss the others and instead concentrate on saving a little each month to put towards a ticket to their gig, they normally don't play England until October so should have plenty of time :jSuccess means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY.
