Argh! Tesco not taking £5 sun vouchers.

As the title says, Tesco may not take your £5 off £30 spend morrisons sun voucher.
I just had mine refused as the dates are wrong in the bottom left corner, main dates on the T&C are right but because the other dates were wrong they were rejected.

According to the checkout girl i was unlucky as they were honouring them earlier in the week It just depended what 'manager' was on.

Check before you use them.

hi,i sympathise.this happened with me too.first i went to customer services to make sure they would take it,and after short discussion,said they would,but only at the till.she also said the two dates didn't match,but try it anyway.i did,and till wouldn't take it,had to go down to customer services and just voided the shop.
then i went to morrisons and it was accepted there.this has been a nuisance with tesco saying they will accept it,but either don't or eventually do,as in the previous 2 weeks,begrudgingly.
if you still have the coupon,go to morrrisons and use it there,you've got till sunday,after alll a fivers worth of shopping free is at stake

I couldnt be bothered getting the whole shop voided, much as i was tempted. Unfortunately cant really afford to do another shop this week or i would go morrisons.

Mine was taken this morning - though they had to take me to a different till to put the transaction through.

I used 4 this week, cant see the problem as they are not redeeming them, so they r loosing buisness

Mr T tried the same trick with me so I said fine I don't want my 4 bags of shooping after all - you can put it all back on your shelves!
I figured it would cause them more hassle than if would me and they soon backed down and took the £5 coupon!

Remember until you have physically paid and they have accepted your cash you don't have a legally binding transaction so you are under no obligation to buy the goods if they won't accept your coupon.

I know but i was hungry and a bit grumpy so couldnt be bothered with the hassle, and the checkout girl was lovely so i didnt want to land her with all my shopping all over her tillpoint to sort out. Think i may be too soft:o I have sent them an email so i should hear back from them hopefully.

I have just got back from Tescos .First I went to CS desk and asked if there was a problem with the vouchers . Was told yes its a misprint ,do not worry , tell CA customer services said it was OK. And it was :j

Why are you not using the voucher at Morrisons in the first place (obviously if you have one) ?
Would save the hassle of Tesco not accepting.
