Desperate - Travel from Hamden on Sat

I have managed to find myself some cheap(ish) Take That tickets on gumtree but if I want them I have to meet the guy on my lunch and will have to leave work in an hour.

We don't have a car and won't be able to get back home if I can't find a coach or something. Travelling from Edinburgh to Hampden on Saturday and back again, although I imagine getting there on a train would be fine but getting back is the problem!

Any bright ideas?

I'm sure there will be buses into glasgow running and trains will prob run too.
I know when we saw Robbie williams in Edinburgh we got train back to Glasgow no problem.

Yes that's what I meant but it turns out the guy is an idiot and hasn't put them back for my afterall.

Probably wouldn't make the last train/buses or if we did they would be too packed to get on.

Your problem is going to be catching the last train from Glasgow to Edinburgh, it leaves at 23.30 from Queen St.

If the concert finishes at 22.00 then you (and all the rest of the crowd) have a 10 minute walk to Mt. Florida station and there are only the last 4 trains to Glasgow Central and then a 15 minute walk to Queen St.

Mind you as it's Take That it's unlikely there will be any big crowds :) so you should get on a train easily.

    Not going now :p

And TT won't be on stage until 8.45 so no chance of them finishing at 10.

Last night they finished around 10.45, there were lots of First Buses waiting to bus people back into town.

Hope you enjoy it, it was a great night last night. Wear something warm though as it got very cold later on in the evening. My hands were frozen so maybe even take gloves (even though it is the middle of June!!)
